Alexander Watson has a background in forestry science, social banking, and social finance and has worked in reforestation projects in Latin America and Southeast Asia. In 2011, together with two partners, he founded OpenForests, an organization which is specialized in applied forest information management. Their work covers drone based mappings, remote sensing and web & field application development for sustainable forestry and conservation projects.
