Chris Magero is a senior programme officer at IUCN with the Forests and Grasslands Programme. Chris MAGERO is a rangeland management expert and has previously worked as a Key Biodiversity Areas Programme Manager at BirdLife International, Natural Resource Management Specialist at African Conservation Centre, among other organisations. His work with IUCN encompassed among other things. steering the Global Rangeland Restoration agenda, mobilizing global partnerships for rangeland restoration including the Great Green Wall Initiative and delivering the training on IUCN Global Standards on Nature-based solutions. Chris is an MSc in graduate in Rangeland Management (Economics) from the University of Nairobi, and also holds a certification in Principles of Sustainable Finance.
