Eric Patrick is an Adaptation Specialist at the International Fund for Agricultural Development and interim coordinator of the Adaptation for Smallholder Agriculture Program (ASAP, the largest program of its kind). He is also the coordinator of the IFAD-led Global Environment Facility funded ($115m GEF + $700m co-financing) 12 country landscape focused program in SSA, with a wide partnership approach (ICRAF, World Bank, FAO, AGRA, Conservation International, Bioversity, UNIDO, UNDP, UNEP etc) each bringing in a dimension of the sustainable production landscape solution. Previously he worked for UNDP’s Drylands Development Centre in Nairobi and New York, for World Vision in Chad, for the Badia Development Program in Jordan, the Desert Research Institute in Israel and Carleton University Canada.
