Larissa is a scientific project coordinator at TMG Research and leads the organization’s work around nature-based solutions, including the accompanying research to ‘Soil Protection and Restoration for Food Security’.

Larissa’s expertise revolves around transdisciplinary research, sustainable land management, ecosystem-based adaptation, and gender and land rights. She draws on vast field research experience in Burkina Faso, Benin, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, and India. 

Before joining TMG, Larissa worked with the Global Soil Forum at IASS Potsdam and the African Model Forest Network. She holds a master’s degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability Science (M.Sc.) from Lund University, Sweden.
