Zuhura Ahmad

Zuhura Ahmad is a Tanzanian young woman, Global Ambassador and Member of Global Storytelling Community at Youth4Nature. Since 2020, Zuhura has taken several important roles, including volunteering as Global Ambassador focusing on Storytelling, Fundraising and Africa regional matters. More recently, she has served as a Youth4Nature Ground-up Activator leading her on-the-ground project, “She Shapes Nature”. For this initiative, Zuhura employed digital storytelling and in-person convening to survey and amplify the work of women and girls in Tanzania’s nature-based economy, from land to sea. She is also working with The Women in Recycling Foundation as the Head of Programs in Tanzania.
