Zata Amani is an Indonesian social scientist and environmental advocate with an MSc in International Development Studies from Wageningen University. Her research explored Indonesian state actors’ strategies on deforestation at COP28, deepening her expertise in sustainable landscapes and governance. She later interned with the Global Landscapes Forum as the Youth in Landscapes intern for Asia. Committed to transformative change, Zata advocates for community resilience and ecological harmony, emphasizing the deep interconnection between people and the earth.
