Yahya Rachmana Hidayat

Yahya Rachmana Hidayat is a Director for Energy Resources, Mineral, and Mining at the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) of the Republic of Indonesia. He graduated B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Indonesia in 1986 and in 1995 continued his study in the Economic Planning and Policy field from the Department of Economy, Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He finished his M.Sc. in 1997 and 2002 was awarded Ph.D. in International Money and Finance from Claremont Graduate University, Claremont, California, USA.
He has been worked at Bappenas for 20 years and started his career in the electricity sector. He has already placed in other sectors. In 2005-2007, he served as Head of Bureau for Internal Planning, Organization, and Procedural Affairs. Then he officiated Directorate for Energy, Telecommunication, and Informatics for 3 years. In 2010 until 2016, he served as Head of Center for Planners Development, Education, and Training and lastly before assigned in this current position he was the Director for Trade, Investment, and International Economic Cooperation.
