Professor Wilson Ng’etich is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration and Finance), of the University of Eldoret, Kenya. Prof. Ng’etich holds a Doctorate Degree in Agricultural Water Management from Cranfield University, United Kingdom, and a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Nairobi. After a career as Principal Research Officer at the Tea Research Foundation of Kenya, he began working at the Department of Soil Science at Moi University in 2007, teaching soil physics and soil-plant-water relations. He was appointed the Head of Department in October 2008, a position he held until August 2016. At the University of Eldoret he has served as Ag. Director, Town Campus, and now as Deputy Vice-Chancellor. He continues to teach soil physics and crop modelling at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is active in research, with current interests in degraded lands.
