Dr. Teshome Emana received his PhD from Addis Ababa University and mainly interest in urban anthropology, land and land related conflicts in Ethiopia. He was Head of the Department of Social Anthropology at Addis Ababa University until July 2019. He is currently a research fellow at the African Studies Center at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.
