Tatiana C. Alves is a Senior Analyst at Climate Policy Initiative and leads the Brazil Program of the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance. Since 2016, the program has developed six climate finance instruments in Brazil and two more are in development in 2020. In addition to her analytical work, Tatiana also manages the Lab’s partnership with GIZ and the Brazil Lab members and network. She has extensive experience in developing funding mechanisms and financial tools for environmental projects, having worked and consulted for NGOs, private companies, foundations, financial institutions and the government. Tatiana holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of São Paulo, a Master in Business Economics from the University of São Paulo and a Master of International Affairs focusing on Environmental Policy and Finance from Columbia University´s School of International and Public Affairs.
