Dr. Takanori Oishi received a PhD from Kyoto University and researches hunter-gatherer societies, sustainable livelihood, and environmental anthropology in the forests of central Africa. He is co-editor of Human History from the Dog’s Perspective (in Japanese: Bensei Publishing, 2019), an interdisciplinary study.
