As an economist specializing in sustainable land management, Abdoulaye Sambo Soumaila is National Coordinator of GREAD/WOCAT. Since 2000, he has made many studies on Niger pastoral region including the monitoring systems of transhumant breeders movements and their spatial adaptation strategies in Sahel region, rangeland management, SLM technologies and approaches in pastoral area, etc.
