Rosa Concepción Lucero Bonilla is deputy councillor of Cantón Logroño from 2019 until 2023. She was the first woman recognized as a leader in the rural neighborhood of San Carlos de Logroño, where her interest in working with indigenous sectors and supporting local entrepreneurship was born. She has a degree in Public Accounting and Auditing (Escuela Superior Politécnica del Chimborazo-Espoch) and a Master in Public Enterprise Management (Instituto de Altos Estudios Nacionales – IAEN). She currently coordinates bamboo cultivation projects (Inbar), the fish farming project of the Municipality of Morona Santiago, and balsa cultivation with the Ministry of Environment.
