Pierre-Yves Morier

Pierre-Yves Morier is Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Switzerland in Brasília. A Swiss diplomat and lawyer, he has extensive experience in international law, cooperation, and human security. Prior to his posting in Brazil, he served as Head of Cooperation in Morocco, led Switzerland’s Task Force for Asset Recovery in Bern, and held diplomatic assignments in Colombia, Belgium, and at the European External Action Service. Trained in law at the Universities of Lausanne and Bern, with an LL.M. in International Public Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, he speaks French, English, German, and Spanish.
