It is my vocational as well as personal mission to work towards a zero-carbon economy by promoting sustainable food systems, sustainable consumption patterns, circular economy and resource optimization. My focus has always been on climate innovation, social responsibility, social innovation and I have spent the past 5 years focusing on sustainable food systems and -consumption patterns, alternative proteins and sustainable cropping systems.
Privately, I am a mother of 3 girls, a climber and a dedicated veggie gardener. I have engaged myself in the sport of keeping the family carbon footprint as low as possible through a great deal of bicycling, an equal amount of public transportation, waste-reduction, flexitarianism, recycling, minimal consumption and over-land-travelling. I may sound like a tinfoil-hat, but don´t worry: I don´t preach and I look fairly normal.
