Patrick Amoth

Patrick Amoth is a consultant obstetrician and gynecologist with a distinguished career in civil service and as a practicing doctor in Kenya. Previously he was head of the Directorate of Public Health at the Ministry of Health, spearheading strategy development for effective delivery of health services across Kenya and centrally involved in the inception and alignment of Universal Health Coverage in the country. Amoth has held top positions at various hospitals across the country and is credited with successfully fundraising and revolutionizing infrastructural improvement of hospitals where he was worked. He is a graduate of the University of Nairobi Medical School and has a Masters in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the same university. He further holds a Diploma in Health Systems Management form Galilee College in Israel.
