Prior to his current role, Oliver was the interim Executive Director of the Global Alliance for the Future of Food and was also the Champions Engagement Lead at the UN Food Systems Summit in 2021. He was the Deputy Director of Agropolis Fondation and has worked with Global Forum on Agricultural Research in FAO and in the Philippine Ministry of Socio-economic Planning. Oliver has worked extensively on multistakeholder partnership issues in natural resources management, sustainable development and food systems, as well as in project evaluation, investment programming, development planning and Agenda 21 formulation.
