Nevena Bakalar

Nevena has worked in international development for more than 10 years with a focus on partnerships, resource mobilization and global visibility. She has previously worked for the United Nations (FAO, UNCCD, UNFPA), for development agencies such as USAID and World Bank and currently leads CIFOR-ICRAF Resilient Landscapes Partnerships and Engagement workstream. Prior to this, she led the FAO REDD+ Outreach Team as their Global Outreach and Knowledge Management Coordinator and FAO’s UN-REDD Programme focal point based in Rome.
