Nadino, 31, is from the Shiwakucha community, and is a young leader of the Amazonian Kichwa Nationality, from the Arajuno Canton – Ecuadorian Amazon. He has been an activist since childhood and spoken for the rights of his people. He was part of the Youth Council of the Indigenous Movement of Ecuador in 2011. In 2004, he served as the Plurinational Representative of Indigenous Children and Adolescents of Ecuador. In 2019 he was a member of the International Committee of the Pan-Amazonian Social Forum. Since 2013 Nadino has been the founder, director and vocalist of the intercultural musical band KAMBAK, a group that is a reference of the Amazonian music of Ecuador (https://youtube.com/channel/UCYngZ0SAE8N6xH-Dab7qfFQ ). Since 2020 he is Youth Focal Point and responsible for Communication of the Coordinator of Indigenous Organizations of the Amazon Basin – COICA. He is currently Technical Coordinator of the Program for the Defense of Indigenous Defenders-PDDD of COICA. Nadino is also a law student at the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja – Ecuador.
