Mwizeere Ruth Edma is a passionate volunteer at Tree Adoption Uganda. She is an active participant in the project of education of rural communities in Mpigi District about the role of agroforestry in combating with Climate Change and restoration of the landscape.
Her passion for nature has driven her into pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences at Makerere University Uganda, where she is currently the General Secretary of the Makerere University Climate Change Association (MUCCA).
Ruth has also participated in other events around the country that involve sensitization and active leadership of communities through service such as the recent Lutembe Wetland clean up by Nature Uganda and she participates in the annual Kampala Capital City Authority festival, serving in the waste management campaign.
