Since 2014, Michael has served with the joint United Nations Development Programme and UN Environment ‘Poverty-Environment Initiative’. He is responsible for strategic communications and knowledge management within the global hub of the initiative, based in Nairobi. Michael also serves as the focal point on sustainable fashion to the Ecosystems Division of UN Environment and has been working towards the creation of the a ‘United Nations Partnership on Fashion and the Sustainable Development Goals’.
