Mercy Owusu Ansah

Since 2018, Mercy has been the director of Tropenbos Ghana. She is a forester by training with a background in natural resources management. She is experienced in engaging communities in developing and implementing sustainable livelihood schemes. She has executed projects that have promoted community leadership in biodiversity conservation by facilitating multi-stakeholder dialogues and platforms at local, national and policy levels. Mercy furthermore has experience in policy formulation, review and implementation, identifying and analyzing gender roles in natural resource management, climate resilient landscapes approach, and knowledge of the context, principles and relevance of integrated landscape comes for natural resource governance.
