Asiimwe Martin holds Masters of Science Degree in Agro ecology, Bachelors of Science Degree in Forestry with sixteen years working experience in international and national NGOs. Martin has a rich experience in Biodiversity conservation and Natural Resources Management in Africa.
Martin currently works for World Wide Fund for Nature-Uganda Country Office (WWF-UCO) as Forest and Biodiversity Program Coordinator. His specific areas of expertise are; wildlife management, sustainable forest management, Forest certification, carbon-trade, sustainable agriculture, community development and natural resources management. Martin has conducted a number of research studies in the field of FLEGT, FLR, Forest certification, forest markets, value addition with community associations and sustainable agriculture with rural community associations.
