Mariz Osbina is a Marine Biologist working on mangrove restoration in the Philippines. She is also a Program Officer at Oceanus Conservation, a local youth-led NGO, where she focuses on ocean literacy and advocacy, citizen science for seagrass monitoring, biodiversity assessment, and communications. At the same time, she is the GLFx Mindanao Communications Coordinator. Throughout her career, she aims to promote marine education for the youth, collaborate with local communities, and make a positive impact on marine conservation in the Philippines.
