Marino Velasco is an artisan, Indigenous leader and president of Security of the Asháninka Native Community in Pampa Michi, Chanchamayo province, belonging to the department of Junín in Peru.
Marino has actively participated in the bamboo promotion activities in his territory where INBAR develops together with the support of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
