Marco Boscolo is an FAO Forestry Officer. A forest economist by training, his work focuses on promoting inclusive and sustainable forest-based value chains and access to finance, especially for small scale forest producers and their organizations. Prior to joining FAO, he was a research fellow at Harvard University and consulted with multiple countries and organizations. He holds a PhD in forest resources economics and co-authored over 70 publications
