Malgorzata Buszko-Briggs is currently FAO’s Programme Coordinator for the United Nations Collaborative Programme on Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (UN-REDD), a partnership of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Environment (UN Environment).

She has been based in FAO’s Headquarter in Rome for almost 10 years. Before joining FAO, she worked for intergovernmental cooperation on environmental and climate change affairs and served as senior advisor to environmental multilateral negotiations (MEAs) for various organizations and private sector.
