Koji Hongo

Mr. Koji Hongo is Deputy Director-General in Forestry Agency in Japan. His role is to support Director-General and to coordinate and supervise the overall operation of Forestry Agency. He majored in forestry in University of Kyoto, Japan. He has experienced about 36 years in Forestry Agency. Prior to his current position, he involved on management of national forest in Japan. During his carrier, he worked closely on the forest planning issues including climate change, Sustainable Forest Management and REDD+.
