Originally from Benin Republic, Ken Lohento is Digital Innovation Strategy Specialist (Consultant) at the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO, Regional Office for Africa). With 22 years of experience, he led for many years award-winning projects on digital agriculture and youth entrepreneurship at the Technical Centre for Agriculture and Rural Cooperation (CTA), covering African, Caribbean and Pacific countries. These included support to 800 young companies to design and offer digital services to the agrofood sector (AgriHack program); promoting implementation of e-agriculture strategies and blockchain use for agriculture. Ken supported the African Development Bank (AfDB) on digital agriculture strategies. He holds an MBA and a Master’s in information sciences.
