Julius Nganga

Julius Ng’ang’a has 20+ years of experience in sustainable agriculture production, processing, marketing and supply chain management, and proven experience in management of certification and climate change and regenerative agriculture programs and community and landscape restoration programs, working with both public and private sector. Currently, Julius works as the Senior Director for East and Southern Africa at Rainforest Alliance overseeing Rainforest Alliance certification programs and projects portfolio in East and Southern Africa region working with 1.5+ million farmers and workers covering over 700+ thousand hectares in coffee, tea, cocoa, fruits and spices and herbs among other crops. Julius joined Rainforest Alliance in 2013. He is an Agricultural Engineer, holds an MSc in Agricultural Engineering from University of Nairobi and BSc in the same field from Egerton University.
