Juliet Achieng Owuor is a junior researcher at the European Forest Institute in Bonn and, a member of the IFSA-IUFRO Joint Taskforce on Forest Education. She holds a MSc. degree in Forest Sciences and Forest Ecology from University of Goettingen, Germany and a BSc. degree in Agroforestry and Rural Development from Moi University. Juliet has a keen interest in global forest sector research specifically employment, education and green jobs. She has vast experience and is passionate about working with rural communities, sustainable forest management, climate change adaptation and mitigation, advocacy and stakeholder engagement from her previous assignments at the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF Malawi) and other international organizations.
