At Conservation International since 2000, John has filmed and photographed wildlife, ecosystems, indigenous communities, and produced award-winning videos in over 48 countries for CI. His assignments have ranged from filming gorillas in the Democratic Republic of Congo to filming underwater in Indonesia’s Bird’s Head Seascape and producing a National Geographic short documentary on endangered frogs, to name a few.
Besides his passion for film and photography, John is travel enthusiast, and takes any opportunity to dive underwater. Born in Colombia, John is fluent in five languages.
