Jesca Jepkosgei Kiplagat, socio, economic and environmental development specialist from Nairobi-Kenya. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Science) and Master of Science in Development Management, graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Jesca is a Mathematics and Chemistry teacher by training, and she has previously taught various high school students in Kenya. She also worked with the East Africa Community Secretariat as a Content Developer for the 50 Million African Women Speak Network Platform Project – a platform that aims to bring together 50 million women entrepreneurs across 38 countries in Africa to connect, share and learn from one another and act. Currently working as a Communities of Practice Coordinator and Chapter-Manager Africa at the Global Landscapes Forum, she is passionate about landscape conservation and restoration, and currently, pursuing the landscape governance course facilitated by Wageningen University in collaboration with GLF Landscape Academy. This course will equip her with knowledge, skills, tools and attitude to enable her to contribute towards sustainable landscapes.
