Jenice Achieng Audi is a dedicated secondary school teacher at Nyando Mixed Secondary School in Kisumu County, Kenya. Holding the esteemed title of class teacher of the year since 2019, she adeptly represents the school in diverse forums. In addition to her teaching role, Jenice serves as the Country Representative for (Young Professionals for Agricultural Development) YPARD Kenya, empowering youth in agriculture and contributing to sustainable food systems. Beyond education and advocacy, she is the owner and operator of Agnesa Bakery, utilizing innovative ingredients such as pumpkin and sweet potatoes alongside traditional white bread to diversify the community’s food sources. As a mentor and entrepreneur, Jenice co-founded the “Nice n Spicy SHG” for young professional women in Muhoroni. A distinguished alumna of YALI RLC EA and a food fellow in the 2023/24 African Food Fellowship (FSLP), she is also a cohort 1 trainee in the Youth in Agribusiness entrepreneurship training facilitated by the Strathmore Business School through the Kenya Small Business Development Center, Kisumu County. Jenice is eager to optimize her engagements and collaborate with organizations for heightened synergy and impactful outcomes.
