Jane Naini Meriwas

Jane Naini Meriwas HSC, Executive Director, Samburu Women Trust and Convener of National Movement of indigenous women council (IIWC), I hold BA in Community Development, undergraduate in Gender Development, Community Development practitioner, Feminist, a Mentor and Women human rights defender for more than 20 years advancing women and girls rights among indigenous communities, at policy development, governance and implementation. Currently I am the Africa representative for United Nation Voluntary Fund for Indigenous People (UNVFIP), Wildlife Conservation Trust Fund board member and National Defenders Coalition of human rights defenders, Kenya.
