Jane M. Mutune is a postdoctoral fellow and researcher at CIFOR-ICRAF and is a co-principal investigator for the Transforming Eastern Province through Adaptation (TREPA) project. She has more than 15 years experience in forest governance, landscape restoration, community forestry, rural livelihoods, climate governance, agriculture, food security, and development policy and practice in agriculture, food security and forest governance. Her current research interests include sustainable wood production, the nexus between food security and landscape restoration through value chain approaches, climate resilience of agricultural value chains, community-based approaches to ecosystem-based adaptation and resilience, carbon markets for ecosystem restoration, and livelihood resilience. She has published books and journal special issues in forest governance, climate governance and food security.
