Itziar Aguinaga Gil

Itziar Aguinaga Gil is a trainee at the European Forest Institute, Resilience Programme. She assists in preparing and running the European Forum on Urban Forestry 2019, to be held in Cologne during May 22-24. She holds a MSc. degree in Forest and Nature Conservation from Wageningen University, The Netherlands, where she focused her academic research on studying plant ecology and its management in different ecosystems (boreal, temperate, arid). She has experience developing outreach activities and incorporating local communities´ knowledge into her research.
