Herbert Mwalukomo is the Programmes Director for Centre for Environmental Policy and Advocacy (CEPA) responsible for providing leadership in CEPA’s policy research and advocacy work in climate change, biodiversity and natural resources. Herbert has served as the African Regional Facilitator for the Southern Voices on Climate Change, a programme that brings together climate policy networks in Africa, Latin America and Asia. He also served as the National Coordinator for the Civil Society Network on Climate Change in Malawi. As a researcher, Herbert has analyzed various aspects of environmental policies and practices and their implications for natural resource dependent communities in rural South Africa and Malawi. He holds an MSc in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
