Hélène Mbaididje

Hélène is part of the Conservation and Land Use team, where, aside from supporting HCV/HCS work, she is involved in multi-stakeholder facilitation processes in West/Central Africa and company collaboration on a landscape-level for multiple commodities.
She has conducted research in Colombia, trying to understand the pertinence of transnationally funded programs to stop deforestation in the Amazon and their impact on indigenous communities. She also has field experience with smallholders ranging from participatory land-use mapping, biodiversity monitoring and food security. Hélène has a background in environmental sciences and development studies and speaks French, English and Spanish.
