Hasnawati Saleh (Nana) is The Secretary General for Indonesian Young Academy of Sciences (ALMI) and Study Director for The Science of Indonesian Biodiversity Report that is currently prepared by Indonesian Academy of Sciences (AIPI) . She is also an independent researcher in the field of biomedical science at Hasanuddin University Medical Research Center (HUMRC), Makassar. She completed her PhD at The University of Melbourne and did her postdoctoral job at Prince Henry’s Institute in Melbourne. She is one of 50 women leaders around the world invited by State Dept. USA to meet STEM leaders and relevant institutions in USA in 2018.
