Hannah Simmons

Hannah Simmons develops REDD+ carbon projects from forest/grassland conservation in Brazil with a strong focus on co-benefits, such as regenerative agroforestry systems, education and women’s empowerment. She believes the voluntary carbon market can help catalyze the transition towards a net-zero future. Hannah is passionate about the Cerrado biome and the wonderful fruits and nuts that can be sustainably extracted from the standing native vegetation by smallholder farmers to sustain livelihoods.
