Gillian Kabwe

Gillian Kabwe is an Associate Professor in the School of Natural Resources at the Copperbelt University. She has previously worked for the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) in Chipata, Eastern Zambia (2002-2007). Apart from the academic portfolio, Gillian has undertaken various research and consultancy projects in forestry. Recently she co-authored an article “Potential impacts of the proposed EU regulation on deforestation-free supply chains on smallholders, indigenous people, and local communities in producer countries outside the EU”. Gillian holds a Ph.D in Agroforestry from Lincoln University, New Zealand and a Master of Science Degree in Forestry from Stellenbosch University, South Africa.
