Gift has a background of Environmental Management and Sustainable Development, but since taking up the role as ICAD Executive in 2017 has worked to integrate different leadership and change management methods to improve understanding of complex civil society space, governance dynamics and setting clear vision. Always working to further climate justice, sustainability of natural resource use and attainment of sustainable development, his work extends to climate change adaptation, mitigation, advocacy and financing in developing country contexts, to global climate policy processes, as well as effective private sector engagement in climate policy processes to ensuring unlocking of private investments.
