Gérard Andriamandimby

Gérard Andriamandimby is a journalist and economist by training. Before joining the SOA Network as director, he worked as a journalist reporting on economics and tourism. He spent more than ten years in project management for family farmers, and his career has been marked by the success of development projects such as business incubation for young farmers, promotion of the seed industry, mobilization of farmers in the fight against climate change and restoration of the landscape and forest. He has often represented the Malagasy agricultural profession in national and international meetings to defend small producers.
