As a researcher in the Ecosystem Management group at ETH Zürich, Fritz Kleinschroth explores interdisciplinary ways to conserve and restore ecosystems on the landscape scale. Since his studies of landscape planning at TU Berlin, Fritz is combining spatial analyses with field-based evidence to understand how human decisions affect landscapes around the world. As part of the EU program Erasmus Mundus, he recently obtained a dual PhD degree in biodiversity and conservation from AgroParisTech, France and in forestry from Bangor University, UK.
