Florence Palla holds a PhD in ecology (Pierre and Marie Curie University-Paris VI). She then turned her studies to botany, then to environmental sciences, where she specialized in the field of nature conservation by starting to work in the field in the Dja Biosphere Reserve in Cameroon. Over the years, Florence has contributed to the establishment of the Central African Network of Protected Areas (RAPAC), which has allowed her to coordinate numerous regional thematic studies and to gain experience at regional level. Since 2015, Florence has been coordinating the regional support project to the Central African Forest Observatory (OFAC).
