Fidaa Haddad

Fidaa F. Haddad has more than 20 years’ experience in the interface of dryland natural resource management. She has extensive experience in managing projects and initiatives involving public policy development, building local institutions and the incorporation of social and gender issues into resilience and development. Fidaa holds an MSc from the Derby University on Environmental management- Climate Change. Before Joining FAO, Fidaa was leading the regional dryland and livelihood Programs for IUCN West Asia regional Office. She is now leading the team in developing the Dryland Restoration Initiative Platform (DRIP) and serves as Secretary to the Committee on Forestry Working Group on Dryland Forests and Agrosilvopastoral Systems.
