Fabiane Sebaio is a biologist with 20 years of experience in conservation projects in the Cerrado biome. As Executive Director of Consórcio Cerrado das Águas, she has been at the forefront of the project for four years, contributing with her expertise in people management, activities and actions and integrating values into the relationship processes inherent to the Program’s purposes.

Sebaio worked with the implementation of environmental certification processes, carried out internal audits and implemented the 5S Program in rural properties. She collaborated with the organization and writing of the book “Biodiversity in Minas Gerais: an Atlas for its Conservation” of the Biodiversitas Foundation and worked for 10 years as coordinator of the Pato-mergulhão Alto Paranaíba Program of the NGO CerVivo, where she carried out research on the species and environmental education in schools and rural areas, in addition to participating in the species’ working group at ICMBIO.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from UFU-Federal University of Uberlândia and a Master’s Degree in Ecology and Conservation Management from the Federal University of Minas Gerais/UFMG.
