Eva Mayerhofer

Eva is the lead environment and biodiversity specialist of the European Investment Bank.. From 2000, she worked at the Asian Development Bank before joining the European Investment Bank in 2005 to work on environmental policy and standards and practices. She leads the biodiversity agenda at the EIB with a specific focus on financing and valuation. Eva also represents the EIB in the Sustainable Infrastructure Partnership WG, which was launched by UN Environment in 2018 as a network to promote and support integrated, system-level approaches to planning and developing sustainable infrastructure. She was educated in natural sciences at the universities of Pennsylvania, Concordia and Glasgow.
