Erick Ombija a social scientist, non-academic researcher, youth advocate, youth-and- children development expert, and full-time community-service youth volunteer with a diverse practice as a social innovator, social development program design expert, climate & environmental action leader, and zero hunger champion with over nine years of community volunteering experience. He currently serves as a Member of the UN Decade Youth Task Force and Global Co- Lead to the UN Decade Food Challenge which is a self-organized multi-stakeholder challenge to restore and regenerate productive ecosystems on a planetary scale to ensure zero hunger, economic prosperity, and environmental enhancement across local communities and refugee camps world over. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the Ecosystem Restoration Alliance of Kenya (KERA).
